Factors Influencing NGO Activities: Lithuanian Case Study

The article aims to explore the external and internal factors influencing activities of NGOs, in Lithuania. A qualitative empirical study was conducted (10 expert surveys) on this issue, what are that help hinder NGOs allowed us identify groups positively NGOs: human skills; infrastructure, as well organisation's relationship with public authorities, hindering were also identified: application contracting authority status NGOs; "activities interest" interpretation; peculiarities taxation non-profit organizations; etc. most relevant NGO activity problems related legal acts distinguished: (Law Public Procurement Republic Lithuania); Interpretation “activities interest” (STI material.
